Sand Dunes
I rode with Mike out to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes this evening. Mike was out there last night, but didn't get the photograph he wanted. I was happy to come along. Even though the sand dunes are a wilderness study area, they are best known as a recreation area for off road vehicles. Enjoy:

Wish I was with you guys.
Yeah...me too. I could have used the extra help with the gear!
Nice shots Darren. Mine suck.
Just put a $5 price tag on the chair and you can have your own private little garage sale in in the middle of nowhere!
Uncle Phil
When I was at Ricks, people used to thing it was great fun to take a sofa out to the dunes to burn. An odd Idaho custom, in my humble opinion...
The subject of sand ripples might be cliche but there is nothing cliche about that image. nice work!
Wilderness study area? Is there much studying of the wilderness there? Wonderful images! The photo of Mike photographing is great! It shows the vastness of the dunes. You know I have never been up there and I have lived here my whole life.
These are beautiful, Darren. I'm embarassed to admit that for all the time I've lived in Rexburg I've not explored the dunes. Your images have encouraged me to schedule a visit soon. Cool action shot of Mike, too.
