It's still cold!
So, It's really cold. It doesn't seem like winters have been terribly sever since we moved back to Idaho six or so years ago. This winter though reminds me of the Idaho winters of my childhood. It's been between 10 and 15 degrees below zero every night since Thursday. Highs have been in the single digits. The forecast looks promising though. Highs in the 20s by Friday.
Anyway, enough whining. At least television is good this week. 24 premiered last night, which was fantastic. The office has been stellar lately. American Idol premiers tomorrow (I'm not a fan, but Susan likes it). Also, I've been enjoying my fly-tying class and this is perfect fly-tying weather I suppose.
I managed to get out in the sub-zero temperatures last night to photograph. It was brutal, but the light and color were nice.

BRRrrrrrrr is right!!
Nice images. I've been stuck working on my truck for the past week. No photography for me.
American Idol is the only thing keeping me going!
No...seriously! :D
Looks really cold. It looks and feels that way here also!
Our lows have been 0 degrees, and we think that's bad.
Jeff dedicated a post to you on his blog. You should check it out.
My favorite thing about the chill is how it brings out all of the most excellent drivers... This coming from a Texan.
Just wanted to let you know we had our first snow fall today! And I still only wore a light jacket to work. Sorry just had to say it! We too are avid watchers of American Idol. It's funny watching all the crazy people try to sing!
Where is Jeff's blog, Tracie?
There's a link to it on my blog.
Nice to see you at the art seminar the other night. I really like the sunflower image.
