Snow Disaster?
In the local newspaper on Monday was a story about Madison County's high snow levels in the valley. Apparently Madison County has declared it an official disaster, whatever that means. I guess it's so we can get help when everything melts (assuming it ever warms up). You can read the story here
Anyway, Kevin and I decided to take a drive after work today to see how my favorite winter road is faring. There were some pretty impressive drifts and in some spots the road was completely drifted over and impassable. Kevin had a lot of fun climbing on the drifts. Here are some photographs:

Nice. Reminds me of when I was a kid. (dad)
hi bro clark. so pretty, these photos kind of make me miss rexburg...then again it would be pretty spectacular for about a day...i'm sure all you natives are ready for summer.
so i know you're a photo teacher and all but how is it that even your snapshots are amazing. have you discovered some secret equipment/lense combo that i should be let in on? i may need to upgrade.
hopefully see you and the crew in denver at spe since i live here now.
I love that last picture! It's so peaceful! I can't believe how high those drifts are. That's amazing!
Holy Snow!
Andi, how nice to hear from you. I hope we do get to see you at SPE. As far as making nice looking snap shots, what can I say? There are no secrets or anything, it was just nice light.
i really do enjoy the stop sign one. with the red being the only color in the photo (except for snow white). it is supposed to be about 50 degrees this weekend. enjoy the snow.
Holy Cow. Those drifts are huge. White is my favorite color. I think that is why i never mind winter and particularly rexburg winters are so beautiful. White is all you see. I love all the photos.
Is Brother Atkinson ever going to update his blog?
I love that one of Kevin looking at the truck. He looks a little disproportionate to the truck and the road.
sally, I doubt it.
Wow! You do get snow!

Darren, you need to turn the 'echo' feature off of your blog.
