Drive to Work

My friend Mike Slade has been doing a lot of time lapse stuff and I wanted to give it a try. Also, I am giving an assignment on "time as the subject" for a photo class I'm teaching and I wanted to have something to demo. So I made this movie or time lapse, or sorry excuse for imagery, but here it is:

Like it. You're lucky to have such a nice drive to work. How is the website design coming?

It's coming slowly. We were out of town with some students last week. Maybe later this week... I hope

Um for a second I thought you were chasing that pedestrian around the parking lot. I've heard about those crazy drivers in Rexburg and the peds. Watch out!!!

Good job waiting for the pedestrians. That was way cool.

Wow, very cool. I actually like it a lot. You should join www.timescapes.org and see how the guys there are tackling the time-lapse stuff. I'm flattered you mentioned me. We looked at your potato cellar work the other day in class. We decided you were doing Typologies like the Becker's are in Germany.

Ughh.. Not another Becher comparison. I think that's why I started photographing interiors, harvest, different angles, etc..

Yeah, I think I may do more time-lapse.

Dude, be flattered we're comparing you to the Bechers. You're in good company. You're doing your project a bit differently, but ultimately you're doing a contrast and comparison study of the structures. Nothing wrong with that.
