Quick Trip to Fayette
Yesterday we drove down to Salt Lake City to visit my parents and brother and sister and their families. We then went down to Fayette to make a picture of Susan's side of the family. Though I'm not a very good portrait/family photographer I did the photograph. Gary, Susan's brother got back from Iraq after almost 18 months and Andy, another of Susan's brothers is leaving on a mission. This would be the only chance for everybody to be in a family picture for at least two years.
After taking the picture I left to come back home. I have a church lesson to teach Sunday, and an exam to prepare for Monday.
On the way home I photographed a little bit at Devil's Creek Reservoir. It's a lovely little reservoir off the interstate. I always want to stop, but we're usually in a rush to get to Utah or to get back home. The light was pretty nice, I nearly froze, but I think I like what I got.

Wow, you are not a very good photographer. Oh, wait, that is an out-take. Glad you put your family in the front. What on earth is Kevin doing?
He's shaking it like his daddy taught him to.
Ok, that is down right disturbing. I swear that is abuse, subjecting your kid to that. I presume you had to demonstrate? Please, don't ever show me how you do it.
The last thing I want to see if Darren Shakin his ...
So...did the cat get down out of the tree?
I get cold just looking at those pictures. When it gets down to 20 degrees here in the Portland area we start whining!!
Uncle Phil
Yes, the cat made it down safely. Whining when it's 20 degrees? We rejoice when the highs are in the 20s.
Yeah, when it hits the 20s in Jackson this weekend, that was 50 degrees warmer then the low of last week. That is kind of insane to think about. That is as much of a difference as 30 degrees and 80 degrees.
Brrrr. I am greatful for 26 degrees and sunshine. Feels like spring.
Maybe I should start looking for work in Arizona. K said it was 60 degrees down there this weekend.
PS: Nobody comments on my blogs so I have to do these lengthy comments on yours.
Why is it you and Susan are the only two acting normal?
