Tree Trimming

I see this sort of thing quite often and always smile. Today I made a photograph.

Love it.

I always get angry at when trees get cut like this. You seem to do a better job of acknowledging rather then arguing.

I smile because it's funny, not because I approve. I do like the way you put that first sentence together though. That also made me smile.

I guess that is the result of me watching tv while surfing the web.

Similarly, I get really bothered at the harsh lines created by clearcut. Feelings about logging aside, if they could just feather the edges so there was something of a gradual transition, it would help the asthetics of the thing somewhat. I flew from Portland to Klamath Falls a while ago - the forest is a virtual checkerboard. Logging companies DID do selective harvest about 20 years ago (at least in Northern CA) but when the family businesses were bought out by large companies from back east, everything went to clearcut.
Okay - enough for today. Someone is going to tell me to get my own damn blog...

Well you should get a blog, James.

Darren only rode me for 8 months about getting my own blog before I finally did.

Of course I was the one that introduced him to it all.
