Bleeding Snow

Life has settled in to a pretty normal pattern this semester. Wake up when it's dark, teach when it's light and go home when it's dark. I'm able to sneak in a little photography here and there, but the weather's been pretty miserable lately. Here's a quick photo I made between responsibilities the other day. I enjoyed the strange illusion of the water reflecting the light of the setting sun.

I'd trade snow for rain any day.

I like photographing in the rain. Everything has a shine to it from the water. Of course photographing right after it rains is even better. Then you don't have to deal with all that dang falling water (ie rain). I make no sense today. I am really looking forward to 5:00 and the end of the work week. Darren, I'll trade you jobs. Since your job is so hard and all.
