My Last Snowy Owl Post

I went out this morning to check on the Snowy Owl. I found him sitting on a power pole soaking in the morning sun, man what a beauty. I'll try to find something different to post about for next time, but I'm pretty stoked about this owl. Enjoy.

That's a pretty nice shot, it really is a gorgeous bird. What's the next closest siting that you know about?

There's a report of one near American Falls, which is ca. 80 miles SW of Rexburg. The next closest are in N. Montana, N. Idaho, and coastal Oregon as far as I know.

What a gorgeous bird. I may come home this weekend just to see if I can take a picture of my own. I may even break out the old 35mm gear.

Yeah, I wish. 600mm with a 2x converter? And then the 1.5x with the digital camera? Lets see, that would be 1800mm? That would be pretty sweet.

I think you want me to get fired. You keep telling me things I should do that would get me canned.
